Investment project for a new cooling equipment plant in St. Petersburg
As a developer and manufacturer of cooling systems, we have announced a new investment project to manufacture cooling equipment for Russian industry that replaces imports.
The investment plans were formalized on June 18 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in an agreement with the city. It was signed by Alexander Sitov, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade, and Maxim Krasnov, CEO of Cold Energy LLC.
The investment in the new research and production complex will amount to about RUB 4 billion. Once production starts, the plant will create 180 new jobs in the city.
The new facility is being built in the Novoorlovskaya Special Economic Zone (St. Petersburg). Over five years, on a site of 2.5 hectares, we plan to localize the manufacture of industrial cooling towers and chillers with a high share of domestically made components.
